NOTICE OF AWARD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES


PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Old Tappan Board of Education took action at its public meeting on January 5, 2026, to appoint the firms of Fogarty, Hara, La Pira & Cherry, LLC as Board Attorneys, Lerch, Vinci & Bliss, LLP as Auditor, Di Cara Rubino Architects as Board Architects, EnviroVision Consultants, Inc. as Environmental Consultants, and Nancy Rothenberg, DO, as School Physician.  These appointments qualify as a professional service for which the Board is not required to publicly advertise for bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-5.

Fogarty, Hara, La Pira & Cherry, LLC, Fair Lawn, NJ, to provide legal services to the District at the hourly rates as follows:

Partners:  $185 per hour    Associates:  $165 per hour

Lerch, Vinci & Bliss, LLP, Fair Lawn, NJ, to provide auditing services to the District.   

Standard billing rates for the period January 1, 2025 through the 2026 Reorganization meeting are as follows:

Partners:  $160 - $190 per hour Managers:  $135 - $150 per hour

Di Cara Rubino Architects, Wayne, NJ, to provide architectural services to the District at the hourly rates as follows:

Principals:  $180 per hour

EnviroVision Consultants, Inc., Fair Lawn, NJ, to provide environmental and consulting services to the District.

Nancy Rothenberg, DO, Bergenfield, NJ, to provide medical services to the District. This resolution and contracts are on file and available for public inspection at the Board of Education’s Offices.

Also appointed, Antoinette Kelly as the Treasurer of School Monies, for the period January 1, 2026 through the 2027 Reorganization meeting, for the retainer amount specified in the budget and until her successor is otherwise appointed.
